Puppy 101:

Building a Strong Foundation

Designed for young pups, this introductory class focuses on creating a strong bond and effective communication with your dog. You'll learn essential skills like problem-solving, socialization, and managing common behaviours such as nipping, potty training, and jumping.

We'll also cover healthy play, recognizing signs of stress, and understanding canine body language to set your pup up for success!

Super Dogs:

Essential Training for Older Pups

Perfect for slightly older dogs who are new to training and need help with the basics. The adolescent stage can be challenging, but this class covers all the key skills—positions, leash walking, recall, and more—to help your dog become a well-mannered companion!

Einstein Class:

Taking Training to the Next Level

Build on the foundation from Puppy 101 and Super Dogs with real-life application! This class challenges both you and your dog by increasing distractions and introducing new commands to help navigate everyday situations with ease.

You’ll master practical skills like:

Maintaining focus while on-leash
Sitting politely when greeting people

Josh’s Journey: From One Dog to a Lifelong Passion

It all started with the love of one dog…

Josh’s first dog, a Husky named Siku, was a challenge from day one. Living on his own, he found himself eating Kraft Dinner while Siku dined on chicken breast—because he refused to eat kibble! Determined to find a solution, Josh discovered L’Académie Canin and began volunteering, dedicating over 40 hours a week for nearly two years. That experience sparked his passion for dog training.

The journey wasn’t always easy, but he never gave up. He knew this was his calling and made countless sacrifices to follow his dream. Today, his dedication to helping dogs and their families is stronger than ever.

Through patience, care, and a deep understanding of canine behaviour, Josh built a reputation as a trusted trainer for both humans and dogs. His clientele grew quickly through word of mouth, and his group sessions at a pet supply store in Montreal’s West Island became incredibly popular.

As his experience working with anxious and aggressive dogs grew, veterinarians began referring clients to him. He also partnered with rescue organizations to support dogs in need and help them transition into their forever homes.

Now, Josh continues his mission as an independent trainer, offering personalized guidance to help people build strong, positive relationships with their dogs using force-free, science-based training methods.

No matter the challenge, Josh is here to help—because every dog deserves a happy, well-balanced life!
